I am not sure if I can trust you with my money.
I run a print-on-demand shop on this blog that sells vegan and vegetarian themed products. The products are printed and shipped by Printful, a company with fulfilment services worldwide. I pass on your name and address to them so that they can ship your order directly to you. I use Stripe and PayPal, third party payment processors, to collect payment from you, and it is they who collect your credit and debit card details. At no time do I have access to or see your credit or debit card information. It is in my interest to be trustworthy and reliable, otherwise my business would suffer.
If you look at the top left-hand corner of your browser, you will see a green padlock, which denotes this site has been secured with SSL. SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is the standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a web server and a browser.
This link ensures that all data passed between the web server and browsers remain private and integral. SSL is an industry standard and is used by millions of websites in the protection of their on-line transactions with their customers.
I worry about sharing my information on-line with you.
If you sign up to my newsletter or give me any other personal information, such as when you order a product or use the contact form, you can be assured that I will not share your information with anyone else. This is my legal obligation under the UK Data Protection Act, and I can be prosecuted for doing otherwise.
When you purchase products from me, you use a safe and secure third party payment processor. This means I do not at any time see your credit or debit card information. This is all handled by your payment processor.
